The planned route Katni-Bina-Nishatpura-Sant Hirdaram Nagar will be replaced with Katni-Jabalpur-Itarsi-Bhopal-Sant Hirdaram Nagar for the 19490 Gorakhpur-Ahmedabad Express, which would run from Gorakhpur from August 25 to September 12, 2024. This train would not stop at the stations in Katni Mudwara, Damoh, Sagar, Bina, and Vidisha due to the route change. There will be a brief stop for this train at Katni station for two minutes.
On September 10, and 11, 2024, the 19489 Ahmedabad-Gorakhpur Express will depart Ahmedabad and travel via the modified route Sant Hirdaram Nagar-Bhopal-Itarsi-Jabalpur-Katni, rather than the original Sant Hirdaram Nagar-Nishatpura-Bina-Katni. This train will not stop at the stations in Vidisha, Bina, Sagar, Damoh, or Katni Mudwara due to the route change. There will be a brief stop for this train at Katni station for two minutes.

Instead of traveling the planned route Itarsi-Bhopal-Bina-Katni, the 11071 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Ballia Express will travel the detoured route Itarsi-Jabalpur-Katni when it departs from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on August 27, 2024. These stations: Narmadapuram, Rani Kamalapati, Bhopal, Vidisha, Ganj Basoda, Bina, Khurai, Sagar, Patharia, Damoh, Bandakpur, and Katni Mudwara will not be served by this train due to the route modification. There will be a brief stop for this train at Katni station for two minutes.

Ballia-Lokmanya Tilak 11072 Terminus Express, which is scheduled to run from Ballia on 25, 26, 30, August 3, and September 7, 2024, will now travel via Katni-Jabalpur-Itarsi rather than Katni-Bina-Bhopal-Itarsi. This train will not stop at the stops in Bagaha, Narkatiaganj, Bettiah, Sagauli, Bapudham Motihari, or Chakia due to the route change.

Instead of traveling the planned route Gorakhpur-Bapudham Motihari-Muzaffarpur, the 12558 Anand Vihar Terminus-Muzaffarpur Express will go via Gorakhpur-Chhapra-Muzaffarpur when it departs from Anand Vihar Terminus on August 21, 2024. Due to the altered route, this train will not stop at the following stations: Pipra, Chakia, Mehsi, Motipur; Bettiah, Sagauli, Bapudham Motihari; Siswa Bazar; Bagaha; Harinagar; Narkatiaganj; Kaptanganj; and Sagauli.

The scheduled route Gorakhpur-Bapudham Motihari-Muzaffarpur will be replaced with Gorakhpur-Chhapra-Muzaffarpur for the August 22, 2024, departure of the 15052 Gorakhpur-Kolkata Weekly Express from Gorakhpur. This train will not stop at the stops at Pipraich, Kaptanganj-Siswa Bazar, Bagaha, Narkatiaganj, Bettiah, Sagauli, Bapudham Motihari, Chakia, or Mehsi due to the route change.

Instead of traveling the planned route Kaptanganj-Narkatiyaganj-Sagauli, the 15274 Anand Vihar Terminal-Raxaul Express, which departs from Anand Vihar Terminal on August 21, 2024, will go via Kaptanganj-Siwan-Muzaffarpur-Sitamarhi-Raxaul. This train will not stop at the stops at Ghughli, Siswa Bazar, Khadda, Paniyhawa, Bagaha, Bhairoganj, and Harinagar due to the route change.

In place of the planned route Gorakhpur-Narkatiyaganj-Raxaul-Sitamarhi-Samastipur, the 15656 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra- Kamakhya Weekly Express departing from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra on August 21, 2024, would go via Gorakhpur-Chhapra-Muzaffarpur-Samastipur. This train will not stop at the stations in Kaptanganj, Narkatiaganj, Bettiah, Sagauli, Raxaul, Sitamarhi, Darbhanga, and Laheriyasarai due to the route modification.

Instead of traveling the planned route Kaptanganj-Bapudham Motihari-Muzaffarpur, the 19037 Bandra Terminus-Barauni Express will go via Kaptanganj-Siwan-Muzaffarpur as it departs from Bandra Terminus on August 20, 2024. Because of the route modification, this train will not stop at the following stations: Bettiah, Sagauli, Bapudham Motihari, Pipra, Chakia, Mehsi, Motipur; Siswa Bazar, Khadda, Paniyhawa, Bagaha, Harinagar, Narkatiaganj.
