Android 16 Beta: Google may soon launch the beta program of Android 16. Developer preview has already been available for two months, and now it seems that a Google employee has accidentally told when the beta builds of Android 16 will start rolling out.

Android 16 Beta Launch Timeline:
Tech giant Google has confirmed that Android 16 beta will be released in January 2025, with the first early build. The remaining beta versions are expected to arrive in February and March. Google did not give a specific release date for the initial beta build, but an internal comment discovered by Android Authority on Android Gerrit gives some clues.
Google plans to launch Android 16 beta 3 on March 12, 2025. The release dates for the first and second beta builds given by employees are January 22 and February 19, which match with the first and second beta versions of Android 16. If beta 3 really comes in March, then the final stable version of Android 16 could launch by the second quarter of 2025.
When will Pixel devices get stable Android 16 update?
If the timeline goes well, Pixel devices could get the stable Android 16 update between April and May, as previously reported.
What new features will be available in Android 16?
Android 16 is expected to bring many exciting new features, including a split-screen mode that will look like OnePlus Open’s OxygenOS, in which users can run three apps at a time. Apart from this, Wi-Fi security, Adaptive Refresh Rate (ARR), and more improvements can also come, which is making this update one of the most anticipated in recent Android updates.
