New Honda Activa 125 launched in India at Rs 94,422; now with 4.2-inch TFT display and more colour options.

New Honda Activa 125 : Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has launched its all-new Activa 125, which now comes with a 4.2-inch TFT display, USB-C charging port, and new colour options. The scooter is priced at Rs 94,422 for the DLX variant and Rs 97,146 (ex-showroom) for the H-Smart version. Apart from this, it is now compatible with OBD2B emission standards.

The launch comes after the debut of the Activa e, the first electric scooter from Honda. The Activa e has a convenient swappable battery system and a sleek design, which is quite different from the petrol-powered Activa.The scooter will go on sale on 1 January 2025, and will be estimated at Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom). Until the electric Activa is launched, let’s take a look at the new features of the Activa 125.

New Honda Activa 125: What’s New?

The Activa 125 maintains its classic design but now comes with a more contemporary and eye-catching look. The scooter’s aesthetic is enhanced with sophisticated contrasting brown seats and inner panels, along with six new colour options (Pearl Siren Blue, Pearl Deep Ground Gray, Pearl Igneous Black, Matt Axis Gray Metallic, Rebel Red Metallic, and Pearl Precious White). These updates give the scooter a distinctive flair that elevates the overall appeal. The headlight has been redesigned with a boxier shape and also gets chrome accents.

The new Activa 125 gets a number of improvements in terms of features, such as a 4.2-inch TFT display that offers a more contemporary and dynamic interface than the LCD display on the old model. The display is linked to Honda’s RoadSync software that also provides navigation support and phone notifications.

The all-new Activa 125 is driven by a 123.92cc, single-cylinder PGM-Fi (programmed fuel injection) engine that meets OBD2B emission standards. This engine produces 8.28bhp of maximum power and 10.5Nm of peak torque. Apart from this, an idle start-stop system has also been given. The engine updates are significant, but the rest of the design of the scooter has not changed much.

Suspension now also comes with telescopic forks in the front and single-sided shock absorbers in the rear. For braking, the Activa 125 has front disc brakes and rear drum brakes.
