The 2025 Triumph Speed Twin 900 is powered by the same 900cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that produces 64bhp @ 7,500rpm and 80Nm @ 3,800rpm, and is paired to a 5-speed transmission.
Triumph Speed Twin 900: Launched in India with new update
Triumph has launched its updated Speed Twin 900 in India, whose ex-showroom price is ₹ 8.89 lakh. The bike has the same old engine, but this time it gets some new suspension and braking updates.
For the front suspension, Marzocchi upside-down (USD) forks have been used, which replace the old gaited telescopic unit. At the rear, the bike gets dual Marzocchi piggyback shocks, which are adjustable for preload.
For an improved braking system, the Triumph Speed Twin 900 now comes with radial calipers, which are paired with Triumph’s iconic logo. In addition, the earlier axial Brembo caliper and 310mm disc have been replaced by a larger 320mm disc.
The bike’s front and rear wheels are the same old ones – 100/90-18 front and 150/70-R17 rear, but now it gets the benefit of Michelin Road Classic tyres.
2025 Triumph Speed Twin 900: What’s New?
The design of the 2025 model is more sporty and refined, taking on the sleek design of its elder sibling Speed Twin 1200. The muscular fuel tank and sculpted side panels give the bike an athletic stance, while the slim LED headlamp and sharp DRLs provide a modern and edgy look to the front. Streamlined engine casings, short fenders, and short exhaust pipes highlight a cleaner and modern silhouette.
In its new avatar, the Triumph Roadster gets three striking paint options: Pure White with bold orange and blue stripes, Aluminium Silver with red highlight around Triumph logo, and Phantom Black with dark grey stripes and gold accents.
Apart from the cosmetic updates, the Triumph Speed Twin 900 also features several ergonomic improvements. For instance, the seat height has been increased from 765mm to 780mm. However, for riders who prefer a lower stance, an optional seat accessory is available that drops the seat height to 760mm. The new Speed Twin 900 now comes with a TFT display, replacing the old single-pod digi-analogue unit. This new display gives more detailed information, including rider modes, and is compatible with optional heated grips and a Bluetooth connectivity module.
Apart from this, the bike now gets switchgear taken from the larger speed twins. Other prominent features include optional cruise control, reduction in rear wheel travel (from 120mm to 110mm), and lean-sensitive road and rain riding modes, along with optimised cornering ABS and traction control as standard.
