Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) gave this information on its X handle. DMRC also appealed that people should take more time to travel from their homes. DMRC updated the passengers by making several tweets. In a post it was written, *“The problem of cable theft between Moti Nagar and Kirti Nagar can be fixed only after the operation time ends at night. During the day trains will run at restricted speed in the affected section, due to which there will be delay in service. Passengers are requested to plan their journey keeping in view the current situation, as the journey will take more time.”* DMRC has also apologized for this inconvenience.

In another post, DMRC wrote, *“A case of theft and damage of signaling cables has been reported between Moti Nagar and Kirti Nagar metro stations by some thieves/miscreants. Due to this, train services on Blue Line (Dwarka Sector 21 – Noida Electronic City/Vaishali) are being regulated since morning. In this section, trains are running at limited speed and are standing together at some places. However, normal train services are available on the rest of the sections of Blue Line.”* DMRC said that to avoid inconvenience to the public during the day, necessary repairs will be carried out at night after the revenue service is closed.
