Terrorists J&K village guards killing: Encounter Underway as 3-4 Terrorists Trapped in Keshwan, Kishtwar After Murder of Village Guards
Nearly four terrorists have been trapped and an encounter is underway after the recent murder of two village guards in Kishwar district, Jammu and Kashmir, police said. An army officer and a soldier were also injured in the encounter by gunfire.
Terrorists kidnapped both village defence guards from Adhwari and then killed them. Kishtwar police confirmed that this is the same group which has now been trapped by the security forces.
“Encounter has started between terrorists and security forces in Keshwan Kishtwar. 3-4 terrorists have been trapped. This is the same group which had killed two poor villagers,” police said.

This morning, during an anti-terror operation in the Zabarwan forest of Srinagar, firing started between terrorists and security forces.
“Kashmir Zone Police said that a joint operation of Police and security forces was started in Zabarwan jungle area in #Srinagar, in which specific intelligence was received about the presence of #terrorists. During the operation, fire exchange also took place.”
This operation was started after yesterday’s encounter in Baramullah district, in which the forces killed a terrorist. Security forces and state police started a joint operation in Rajpura, when they noticed suspicious activity in the region.
The encounter started when the terrorists opened fire on the forces, said Indian Army’s Chinar Corps. “One terrorist has been neutralised during the ongoing operation in the general area of Rajpura, Sopore, Baramulla,” he said.
