CBSE Disaffiliates School List : The Central Board of Secondary Education has cancelled the recognition of 21 schools. Most of the schools in this list are located in Delhi. CBSE has also downgraded 6 schools in Delhi. The board has taken this step due to violation of rules and malpractices. The list of these schools was released on the official website www.cbse.gov.in on Wednesday.
To ensure compliance with examination and affiliation bye-laws, CBSE conducted surprise inspections in many schools across the country. During this, many malpractices came to light. After which the board decided to cancel the recognition of some schools and downgrade them. Affiliation of 15 schools in Delhi and 5 schools in Rajasthan has been cancelled.
