2025 Honda SP125 comes in five new color options: Imperial Red Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, Matt Axis Gray Metallic, Pearl Siren Blue, and Matt Marvel Blue Metallic.
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) is introducing new features to increase the appeal of its two-wheeler range and is following the latest OBD2B emission standards. After the updated Activa 125, HMSI has now launched the 2025 version of its popular SP125 motorcycle, with prices starting at Rs 91,771 (ex-showroom).
The 2025 SP125 comes with its 124cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine, which has now been upgraded to meet the OBD2B emission standards. The bike delivers a peak power of 10.72bhp and a maximum torque of 10.9Nm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. In addition, the new model also features an idling stop system, which further improves fuel efficiency.
Commenting on the launch, Yogesh Mathur, Director, Sales and Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, said, “The SP125 has always been one of the most favourite motorcycles in its category and with this latest upgrade we have further enhanced its style, performance and convenience. With advanced features like Bluetooth navigation, voice assist, and USB Type-C charging port, it will meet the demands of today’s tech-savvy riders.”
He further said, ‘We are confident that the new SP125 with its premiumness will be greatly loved by the young generation and will define the 125cc motorcycle segment in a new way.’
2025 Honda SP125: What’s New?
The 2025 Honda SP125 now features new stylish tank shrouds, streamlined chrome muffler, new decals, and all-LED headlamp and taillamp that further enhance the bike’s aggressive and modern appearance. Talking about features, the 2025 model comes with a 4.2-inch TFT display that is compatible with Bluetooth connectivity and the Honda RoadSync app. This integration enhances convenience during the ride and provides turn-by-turn navigation to riders on the screen itself. Also, the bike includes a USB Type-C charging port.
The 2025 SP125 is now available in five new paint options: Imperial Red Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, Matt Axis Grey Metallic, Pearl Siren Blue, and Matt Marvel Blue Metallic.
Apart from the other updates, there are not many changes in the 2025 Honda SP125. It still has 17-inch wheels, telescopic forks, and dual rear springs. The kerb weight of the bike remains at 116kg and the fuel tank capacity is 11.2 litres.
The new price of the 2025 Honda SP125 is now Rs 91,771 for the drum brake variant, which is Rs 4,303 more than the previous price. Meanwhile, the disc brake version is now available for Rs 1 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom), and this has seen a hike of Rs 8,532. Talking about competition in the market, the SP125 still faces the Bajaj Pulsar NS125, Hero Splendor Plus and TVS Raider.
